高速実験炉「常陽」は,昭和52年4月に臨界し,平成元年12月現在100MW第20サイクル運転を継続している。また,この間に7回の定期検査を行ってきた。燃料取扱設備においては、原子炉運転スケジュールに従い,これまでに約2200体の炉心構成要素の交換を行ってきた。本報告書は,高速実験炉「常陽」燃料取扱設備の運転,保守経験を,昭和61年1月から平成元年12月までの4年間についてとりまとめたものである。

The experimental fast reactor "JOYO" achieved initial criticality in April 1977, and has been operated to the 20th 100MW duty cycle operation in December l989. The periodic inspection has been conducted seven times during this period. About 2200 core assemblies have been replaced by the fuel handling system based on the reactor operation schedule. This report describes the experience of operation and maintenance on the fuel handling facility for four years from october 1986 to December 1989.
