本報では、既存の研究によって整備された「放射性廃棄物の地層処分の安全性に影響を与える懸念事象の相対的重要度把握のための体系的評価手法」を紹介するとともに、「我が国における高レベル放射性廃棄物地層処分の技術的信頼性; 地層処分研究開発第2次取りまとめ」の検討結果や既存の包括的感度解析の成果を用いて、本手法の適用性検討を行った。本手法に基づいて、さらなる情報整理を行うことにより、重要な研究をより効果的に行うことが可能になるとともに、放射性廃棄物の地層処分の安全評価の信頼性の向上が図られると考える。
