Dependence of the ion energy on the parameters of the laser pulse and target in the radiation-pressure-dominated regime of acceleration

When the laser pulse radiation pressure is dominant, the efficiency of the laser energy transformation into the energy of relativistic ions is very high. The energy and luminosity scalings in the RPDA regime are presented.
