Outline of the new IAEA basic safety standards for radiation protection

IAEAの電離放射線に対する防護と放射線源の安全のための国際基本安全基準(BSS)の改定が進められている。先に公開されたBSSドラフト4.0の内容の概要を解説する。また、IAEAの安全基準体系におけるBSSの位置付け,今回の改定のポイントを説明する。

International Basic Safety Standards for Protection against Ionizing Radiation and for the Safety of Radiation Sources (BSS) has being revised and its draft 4.0 was opened for comment. The manuscript describes the outline of the BSS draft 4.0, its role in the system of IAEA safety standard and major points of the revision.
