背面反射型Siアナライザー分光器DNAは、J-PARC物質・生命科学実験施設(MLF)結合型モデレータビームラインBL02にSi完全結晶ウエハを結晶アナライザーに用いる背面反射型逆転配置飛行時間型分光器として、約1eVの高エネルギー分解能を実現し、原子,分子,スピンのナノ秒オーダーの運動を測定する目的で本格的に建設が進められている。研究成果の期待される分野としては、生体関連物質の機能解明,高分子等のソフトマター物質,電池材料,触媒材料等の機能性材料の開発,磁性物質等が検討されている。建設計画は平成21年度から3年間の予算で建設することが決定し現在(H22.11)ビームライン遮蔽体の設置中である。装置建設の完成は、平成23年6月頃を目標として、その後約半年間、コミッショニングを行い、平成24年4月以降供用運転を開始する予定である。

We are beginning the construction of the near backscattering Si crystal analyzer spectrometer DNA in the pulsed neutron source of the Material and Life Science Facility (MLF) at J-PARC. This is the spectrometer to cover the area of the micro-eV energy range in the several spectrometers which are in the construction or planned the construction in MLF. The field of expected scientific research on the DNA spectrometer is very wide including the soft matter dynamics, the bio-molecular dynamics, the chemical molecular dynamics, the characterizations of the functional materials and the spin dynamics in the magnetism. We will report the present status of the construction schedule on DNA.
