「除染モデル実証事業」の成果と除染事業への適用

The Results of the decontamination pilot project and their application to the regional decontamination

原子力機構が内閣府から受託して実施した、警戒区域・計画的避難区域における「除染モデル実証事業」の成果を概説し、その成果のうち、今後の本格除染において留意すべき事柄として、除染計画における事前モニタリング、仮置場の安全性と維持管理、及び除染作業における放射線管理の重要性について述べた。

The decontamination pilot project that was performed by JAEA was introduced and the results were briefed. Particular importance in applying the results to the upcoming regional decontamination is (1) precise and systematic monitoring as a part of the site characterization for decontamination planning, (2) maintenance for safety of temporary storage of wastes, and (3) radiation exposure control for decontamination workers.
