Five new 2 levels and one new 3 level were established in 
Po. The states were populated via the 
Pb(
C, 
Be) two-proton reaction experiment, performed at the JAEA Tandem in Tokai. A setup combining Ge, LaBr
, and Si telescopes was used to detect in-beam 
-rays and ejectile residues. Two-proton configurations were assigned to all new states. All assignments are strongly supported by shell-model calculations.
