Seeking bulk topological superconductors is one of the most attractive issues in condensed matter physics and materials science now. Specifically, superconducting topological insulator copper-doped BiSe is a strong candidate of bulk topological superconductors. The characters mainly rely on Dirac-type electron's dispersion relations. In this paper, we show the Ginzburg-Landau (GL) theory in an effective two-orbital model of copper-doped BiSe, within weak-coupling superconductivity. The resultant theory predicts various curious thermodynamical and transport phenomena of this system. Among them, we propose a way of detecting a topological state with the London penetration depth.

Resonant Inelastic X-ray Scattering (RIXS) at Oxygen K-edge on high-Tc superconductor cuprates is discussed with the cluster calculations. In particular, we discuss the dependence of RIXS spectra on the incident photon energy in carrier doping cases and clarify the similarity and dissimilarity of charge excitation spectra in O K-edge and Cu L-edge RIXSs.

Iron-based superconductor -FeSe has not been studied in the high energy region by inelastic neutron scattering measurement. We have studied it with the single crystals grown by chemical vapor transport method. As a result, spin-wave like dispersion, which can be fitted by two types of anisotropic exchange interactions, is observed up to 200 meV.

KNbO has been a candidate for the end member of a non-Pb ferroelectric materials. We performed local structure analysis of KNbO bulk ceramics by high-energy synchrotron X-ray measurements. It has recently established that temperature-driven structural phase transitions in several perovskite ferroelectric materials (PbTiO, BaTiO, and NaNbO) believed to be purely displacive, have a significant order-disorder component. We performed the local structure analysis in a wide-temperature range to observe order-disorder feature of KNbO. The lowest temperature structure of KNbO is rhombohedral, and we found that the local rhombohedral distortion maintained in the high-temperature cubic phase.
