原研では、所有する研究施設を所内のみでなく所外の研究者にも利用できるよう開放している。種々の利用分野のうち、JMTR,JRR-3,JRR-4の炉内中性子を利用した照射試験や中性子放射化分析,及びホットラボ等での照射後試験については、平成11年度より設置された原研施設利用協議会の下の「炉内中性子照射専門部会」において、利用方法,利用技術,施設整備等の検討を行うこととなった。そこで、本専門部会の活動の一環として、2000年3月9日に日本原子力研究所・東海研究所(先端交流棟大会議室)において「中性子照射利用セミナー」を開催した。発表は各研究分野からのトピックスとして、軽水炉材料,核融合材料,高温材料等の最近の炉内照射試験,及び放射化分析,照射後試験についての最近の研究が紹介された。本セミナーでは研究者相互の情報交換と同時に、施設利用技術に関しても利用者の多くの意見が聞かれたことは原研での技術開発に対するフィードバックの点で極めて有意義であった。本報告書は、セミナーにおける各発表概要と使用されたOHPスライドのコピーを収録したものである。

The “Seminar on the Utilization of Neutron Irradiation" was held on March 9th 2000 in Tokai establishment as a part of activities of the “Program Committee for Neutron Irradiation". The topics presented in the seminar included the recent irradiation studies on the materials for the light water reactors, development of fusion reactor materials and materials used under high temperature, application of neutron activation and recent activities in the post irradiation examinations. This report contains the shortpapers and the copies of the OHPs presented at the seminar.
