Setup of the X-ray mirror system on BL11XU at SPring-8

X-ray mirror system has been installed on a JAERI beam-line, BL11XU, at SPring-8. This system has improved the quality of the reflected X-ray from the monochromator by focusing and removing of higher-order reflections. Here we presented test results of the X-ray mirror system. Reflectivity and FWHM of focusing X-ray by the mirror system are 3 times as strong as and 1/3 as narrow as unfocusing X-ray, respectively. Removal of higher-order reflections was also checked. These results showed that the mirror system on BL1XU was satisfied good performance for experimental use. And we completed a fully systematic instruction manual for operation of the X-ray mirror system on BL11XU quickly and easily. The instruction manual prevents trivial mistakes in operation of the X-ray mirror system on BL11XU and is expected to assist every mirror users on BL11XU in their works.
