臨界プラズマ試験装置JT-60における実験プラズマの可視化

グリッド技術を基盤とした遠隔共同研究を進めるうえで重要な要素の1つに、遠隔可視化システムの開発が挙げられる。その中で、VR(Virtual Reality)の技術を用いてJT-60の放電実験で得られたプラズマを3次元立体表示させ、遠方にいる協力研究者が臨場感を持って遠隔実験に参加できるシステムを開発した。本発表ではプラズマの3次元可視化システムの概要,可視化した物理量、及び作成した3次元立体図を述べる。

When advancing the remote joint research based on grid technology, development of a remote visualization system is mentioned to one of the important elements. The plasma obtained in the electric discharge experiment of JT-60 in it using the technology of VR (Virtual Reality) was indicated by 3-dimensional solid, and the system by which the cooperation researcher which is far away can participate in a remote experiment with presence was developed. This announcement describes the outline, the visualized amount of physics, and the created 3-dimensional solid figure of a 3-dimensional visualization system of plasma.
