Rb $_{2}$ CoCl $_{4}$ ,Rb $_{2}$ CoBr $_{4}$ の単結晶を溶融物から育成し、誘電的性質を液体ヘリウム温度以上の温度領域で測定した。キューリー温度以下に、Rb $_{2}$ CoCl $_{4}$ では66K、Rb $_{2}$ CoBr $_{4}$ では95Kと65Kに新しい相転移が見出された。これらの相転移における誘電異常は、対応するRb $_{2}$ ZnX $_{4}$ 結晶で見出されているものとよい対応を示す。
