ウラン、トリウム、プルトニウムとフミン酸の結合を調べるため、日本の様々な成層化した土壌から抽出精製したフミン酸中のこれら元素の濃度を測定した。これらのアクチニド元素のフミン酸との結合の程度は土壌により様々であった。長崎県の西山地区の土壌および鳥取県八束村の土壌において、Puが高い割合でフミン酸と結合していることが見いだされた。

To investigate the association of uranium, thorium and plutonium with humic acid, we analyzed their contents in the humic acids (HA) extracted from the soil samples collected from various horizontally developed soils in Japan. Nishiyama, Nagasaki, Japan. The association of the actinide elemens with HA varied considerably among the soils. High association of Pu with HA was found in soils from Nishiyama, Nagasaki and Yatuka, Tottori.
