Developments of the vitrification technology at TVF

ガラス固化技術開発施設(TVF)において、2002年から実施していた改良型溶融炉の更新工事を2004年9月に完了し、10月から改良型溶融炉による運転を開始し2005年5月までに60本のガラス固化体を製造した。この運転を通して、溶融炉の安定した溶融能力を確認するとともに、設定した運転条件で目標通りの運転が実施できることを確認した。

The exchange project of the TVF improvement melter began in 2002, and ended in September, 2004. Operation of the TVF improvement melter began in October, 2004, and produced 60 vitrified wastes by May, 2005. It was confirmed that the operation method and vitrification performance of TVF improvement melter was good.
