Present status of the ITER project and its perspective

ITER計画では、この6月にモスクワで開催された第2回6極閣僚級会合において、ITER本体施設のカダラシュへの設置が正式に決定された。サイトの決定により、ITERはその実現に向けて、新たな、そして大きな一歩を踏み出した。その後の9月には、日本,中国,欧州連合,韓国,ロシア連邦,米国の代表団がカダラッシュに集まり、ITER計画の実施に関する協定を完成させるための作業を再開することを目的に、政府間交渉を行った。本講演では、ITER計画に関するこれら最近の動向と将来の展望について紹介する。

The ITER site was decided to be Cadarashe, France at the minister's meeting held in Moscaw in June. After that six Parties, EU, Japan, China, Korea and the US, restarted the works for finalizing the Agreement for establishing the International Organization and its related documents. The presentation will include the process of the works and technical preparation for the start of the construction.
