An Assessment of the multi-stage counter current extraction of TRUs from spent molten salt, into liquid metal

向流多段抽出の新しい計算手順を開発し、その特性を研究した。第1ステージで抽出されたNdが第2ステージでマイルドな還元剤としてはたらきAmを抽出していることが確認された。これによってCd-Li抽出の分離性能がCd-U抽出より優れていることがわかった。また、Bi-Li抽出による分離性能の向上や希土類間の特性の相違を定量的に評価した。

A new calculation procedure for the multi-stage counter current reductive extraction was described and its characteristics were investigated. It was confirmed that the Nd extracted at the 1st stage worked as a mild reducing agent to extract Americium in the 2nd stage. This makes the Cd-Li extraction superior to that of Cd-U in terms of its DF. Higher separation performance of Bi-Li extraction was also evaluated quantitatively. Difference of separation behavior among the lanthanides is also evaluated quantitatively.
