英国国立物理学研究所(National Physical Laboratory(NPL))及びNPL中性子計測グループの概要について紹介するとともに、英国の国家標準としての位置づけを持つ中性子標準や、中性子計測グループにより行われている研究等の現状について述べる。

A brief summary of National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and the Neuton Metrology Group of NPL are mentioned. Present status of the neutron standards, which have been positioned as a national standards in the UK, and related studies at the group are also introduced.
