Performance of 4 Ge spectrometer

We have constructed a 4 Ge spectrometer for neutron capture cross section measurements. It was set at the JAEA research reactor, JRR-3M, and the Kyoto university electron linear accelerator facilities. The results of -ray measurements by utilizing -ray standard sources and neutron capture reactions are discussed. This work is supported by a MEXT program of "Fundamental research and development on neutron cross sections for innovative reactors using advanced radiation measurement technology".
