瑞浪超深地層研究所の研究坑道掘削において、放流先河川における排水中のふっ素及びほう素の濃度が環境基準値を超えたことから、坑道からの排水の適切な処理及び排水量の低減が必要となった。このため、以深の立坑沿いの地質環境特性(地質・地質構造,岩盤水理,水質など)を適切に把握し、その結果に基づいて今後の坑道掘削において必要となる、(1)排水処理設備の設計,(2)グラウト施工計画並びに(3)施設設計の見直し、の3つの課題に資する情報を取得するため、パイロットボーリング調査を実施した。本報告では、主な調査結果と得られた成果について紹介する。

Pilot borehole investigations were carried out at Mizunami Underground Research Laboratory, Mizunami Japan to obtain informations on design on water treatment facility, planning the grouting and design URL. The investigations were conducted dut to the excess of F and B concentrations in discharged water in the river near the URL. Major results of the investigations will be introduced.
