プラズマ対向壁上の球状導体ダスト粒子に誘起される電荷について解析的に調べた。外部の非一様電場を軸方向座標の多項式により近似し、境界条件の取り入れのために双曲座標を導入する。この解析結果を導体壁前のデバイシースの非一様電場中にあるダストに適用した。この結果はダストを取り巻くプラズマによる遮蔽効果の解析に有効である。

The induced charge of a spherical conducting dust particle on a plasma-facing wall is studied analytically. An external non-uniform electric field is approximated by the polynomial of the axial coordinate and the bipolar coordinate is introduced in order to employ the boundary condition. The result is applied to the dust in the non-uniform electric field in the Debye sheath in front of the conducting wall. The results are useful for analyzing the shielding effects of the plasma surrounding a dust particle.
