Mesoscopic simulation for the grain sub-division and the microstructural change of high burn-up fuels

We have developed a mesoscopic model for the microstructural change of high burn-up fuels. In the current model, the accumulation of lattice defects, such as dislocations, is expressed by a small rotation of the matrix fragment, and it is examined if the grain sub-division be reproduced as the burn-up increases.
