The Trend of fusion energy research and development in the participant party and countries in the ITER project

ITER参加極の核融合エネルギー研究開発に対する基本的な姿勢や背景などを概説する。欧州については、幅広いアプローチへの取り組み状況を含め、極内機関と欧州核融合開発協定(EFDA)の両面から解説する。米国については、ITERによる燃焼プラズマの実現が確実視されることから、核融合によるエネルギー開発の新たな動きを紹介する。また、急速に核融合研究開発の力をつけてきた韓国,中国,インドなどについても最近の動向を触れる。

The basic policy and its background for fusion energy research and development is surveyed in the Participant Party and Countries in the ITER Project. The activity trend of the European Domestic Agency and EFDA, including Broader Approach activity, is described. The new trend for fusion energy research and development in the United States of America is presented. The current status of the Republic of Korea, the People's Republic of China and the India and so on is also surveyed.
