Advanced ORIENT cycle project, 1; Outline of the project

核燃料サイクルに起因する環境負荷を低減するため、高速炉を基軸とする新しい燃料サイクルとして先進オリエントサイクル研究を提案した。本稿では、オリエントサイクルの計画の概要と、その概念を構成する技術について紹介する。

For the minimization of the ecological risks originated in nuclear fuel recycling, a new research and development strategy was filed as Advanced ORIENT cycle based on Fast Reactor system. The paper describes the Advanced ORIENT cycle with referring to the state of the art of the component technologies.
