It is dispensable to develop two-dimensional neutron imaging detectors with high position resolution, high time resolution, high counting rate, high detection efficiency, wide detection area and wide dynamic range for pulsed-neutron scattering instruments in J-PARC. Therefore, we developed an image signal-processing device that used two FPGAs with 100MHz clock for these detectors. After photon-counting signals are converted to digital signals by sampling method using the clock signal, a neutron incident position is found out by analyzing the pattern of these digital signals in the device. The incident position finding characteristics obtained by the pattern analysis method are reported.
