Overview of the final report on the surface-based investigation (Phase I) at the Mizunami Underground Laboratory project, 3; Hydrogeological studies

The poster reports the results of hydrogeological studies on the Surface-based Investigation (Phase I) at the Mizunami Underground Laboratory Project. The hydrogeological studies have been carried out in order to understand (1) groundwater flow characteristics, (2) dilution of nuclides, (3) volume of inflow into underground tunnels, and (4) impact induced by construction of underground tunnels on water table and hydraulic pressure. The poster compiles the main results to be understood these items, and technical findings and know-how which can serve as foundation to disposal business.
