Calculation of nuclear charge radii by using the mass models taking axially asymmetric deformation into consideration

Nuclear charge radii have been calculated by using the parameters for mass calculation with Finite Range Droplet Model. The deformation parameters were taken from the recent Finite Range Liquid Drop Model calculation by Mller which takes axially asymmetric deformation into consideration. By comparing the obtained theoretical radii with the experimental ones for many nuclei, it has been found that the agreement is improved.
