We obtained polarized X-rays in the sub-MeV region generated in the Compton backscattering of the Nd:YAG laser photons and the 150 MeV electron beam at KPSI-JAEA. The maximum X-ray energy is 400 keV. There is no light source with tunable polarization in the sub-MeV region at this moment in the world. We present the result of the X-ray generation experiments and the characteristics of the generated X-rays in the meeting.
