Users' beam interlock system at the Materials and Life Science Experimental Facility of J-PARC

A beam interlock system is adopted in the Materials and Life Science Experimental Facility (MLF) of J-PARC to protect experimental users from excessive doses of radiation. This paper describes an outline of the interlock system.
