Examination and application of parameters for evaluating internal dose at high-energy accelerator facilities, J-PARC

Yokoyama, Sumi

At high-energy accelerator facilities, various radionuclides were formed by irradiation of high-energy proton beams. To estimate internal dose suitably, it is important to get information on the physicochemical properties of airborne radionuclides such as the particle size distribution of radioactive aerosols and chemical form of radioactive gases in the air of the facilities. In this report, the study related to internal dose assessment is summarized and the effect on a dose when these results were applied to the dose estimation at the high-energy accelerator facility such as J-PARC facilities is discussed.
