Development of grid interoperability without changing grid systems

Kushida, Noriyuki

In the present paper, an interoperable system which seamlessly connected two GRIDs was introduced. GRID is originally designed to shared the computational or experimental resources, which were geographically distributed. However, several GRID middleware, which enabled GRID computing, were developed with their own policy. Therefore, they loses the compatibility with each other. In line with this background, we develop GRID inteopreable system. As a result, we succeeded to connect ITBL to UNICORE, which isorganized by HRLS (The High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart, Germany).
