Overview of results of pre-excavation grouting for 200m level horizontal tunnel at the Mizunami Underground Research Laboratory

Pre-excavation grouting for the shelter at 200m depth horizontal research tunnel at Mizunami Underground Research Laboratory has been carried out at Mizunami, Gifu. The results of pre-grouting and related Lugeon test with 19 boreholes, hydraulic heterogeniety of the rock mass has been understood.
