Current status of the decommissioning of Fugen

原子炉廃止措置研究開発センター(以下「ふげん」という。)は、2008年2月12日に廃止措置計画にかかわる国の認可を受け、今後、廃止措置に着手していく計画である。これまでの準備段階としては、例えば、重水精製装置の解体試験を行ってきており、トリチウム環境下での解体工事に関する人工数の評価等を行ってきている。廃止措置の着手にあたって、直近の工事計画としては、汚染及び放射能レベルの低いタービン系設備の解体撤去、及びふげん特有設備である重水系設備のトリチウム除去を計画している。また、廃止措置に伴い発生する解体撤去物量及び廃止措置費用の見積りを記載する。

Fugen, We got the approval of the licensing document for decommissioning on February 12th 2008, so we have plans to decommission. As a preparation, for example, the number of workers for dismantlement work under tritium contamination has been evaluated in dismantling test at Heavy Water Upgrade Facility. As nearly work plan, we will dismantle the turbine system for low contamination and dose equivalent rate, and tritium removal at heavy water equipments. Moreover, this presentation shows the amount at dismantled objects and estimation of decommissioning cost.
