スイス連邦工科大学ローザンヌ校において、2008年4月14日-18日の日程で、ITPA計測トピカルグループの第14回会合が開催され、63名(日本:9名,中国:2名,欧州:42名,米国:2名,ロシア:1名,韓国:1名,ITER機構:6名)が出席した。会合では、最優先課題に関する専門家ワーキンググループの活動及び核融合プラズマ計測に関する各極での研究開発状況を中心として、報告と議論が行われた。また、特別セッションのテーマとして、光学計測における真空容器内壁での反射の影響が取り挙げられた。本報告では、会合で報告・議論された内容について概要を紹介する。

The 14th meeting on ITPA topical group on Diagnostics was held for 14-18 April 2008 at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne. The number of participants was sixty-three (JA: 9, CN: 2, EU: 42, US: 2, RF: 1, KO: 1, ITER Organization: 6). Recent activities of Specialist working groups on high priority areas for ITER diagnostics and progress in ITER participating parties for developments of fusion plasma diagnostics were presented and discussed. A special session was dedicated to discuss about the effects of reflection on vacuum vessel wall to optical diagnostics. Outline of the presentations and discussions at the meeting is reported here.
