ITER計画の最近の進捗のうち、(1)日本でのテスト・ブランケット・モジュールの実規模試作の実証成功、及び(2)ITER計画の国内説明会の実施状況について報告する。テスト・ブランケット・モジュールの実規模試作は、低放射化フェライト鋼に新たな接合方法(HIP)を適用することにより成功し、またITER実機の運転条件を模擬した環境での熱負荷試験に成功した。また、ITER計画の国内説明会は、我が国の産業界を対象にITER機構の外部委託業務や物納機器を説明したもの、並びにITER機構職員公募の説明したものをそれぞれ計8回,7回実施した。

The recent status of ITER project, regarding with (1) successful demonstration of the full size first wall as the test blanket module, and (2) briefing sessions for ITER project are described. The demonstration of full size first wall has been successfully developed by HIP joint between low activation ferrite (F82H) and Cupper. Also, the heat flux examination of the first wall was successfully done under the same operation condition of ITER without nuclear flux. The briefing sessions for the industry were held 8 times to explain the procurement on ITER and for the expert were held 7 times to explain the staff recruitment on ITER organization.
