J-PARC計画の現状

大山 幸夫

Oyama, Yukio

The Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex, J-PARC, has been progressed last a few years. Since a commissioning of the first stage accelerator, Linac, was successfully started on November of 2006, in October of 2007 the 3 GeV synchrotron also successfully accelerated protons up to 3 GeV with 5 kW beam power by a single shot. Based on these successes, on May of 2008, the first neutron beam has been observed from a spallation neutron source at Materials and Life Science Facility.
