Employing the "Flying Mirror" concept, we are developing a compact, tunable high-power coherent X-ray source. It will expand the range of applications of the powerful X-ray sources: high-contrast imaging of biological objects, multi-photon ionization in atomic physics and spectroscopy, novel properties of matter in material sciences, and nonlinear quantum electrodynamics processes.
