ステンレス製再処理機器における電気防食の検討

沸騰硝酸を用いるステンレス鋼製再処理機器においてカソード防食法を適用できるかを明らかにするため、基礎的な検討を行った。材料はSUS304ULCステンレス鋼,溶液は3規定硝酸水溶液,参照電極には飽和銀塩化銀電極(SSE)を用いた。定電位電解試験を行ったところ、沸騰硝酸水溶液中の過不働態域では腐食速度は電位に大きく影響を受け、電位を低下させることで腐食速度を低減できる可能性を見いだした。バナジウムイオンを10g/L添加した沸騰硝酸水溶液中(再処理模擬液)においてカソード防食を行ったところ、腐食速度は約1/40に低減し防食効果が確認できた。

The cathodic protection applications of reprocessing plant made of stainless steel in boiling nitric acid solutions was studied. In this study, 304ULC stainless steels in 3N HNO$$_{3}$$ solutions was investigated, Saturated Silver chloride Electrode (SSE) was used as reference electrode. Results of potentiostatic corrosion test was that corrosion rates shows an exponential function increase with rises of potential in transpassive state regions and finded possibility of the cathodic protection applications. Corrosion rates with cathodic protection was about one fortieth of without cathodic protection in boiling nitric acid solutions added 10 g/L vanadium ions (imitation solutions of reprocessing).
