金属電解法における電解精製工程では、液体Cd陰極(LCC)を用いて、超ウラン元素(TRU)の一括回収及び溶融塩中に溶存する核分裂生成物(FP)の除染を行う。LCCによるTRU電解回収性能を評価するため、U, Puとマイナーアクチニド(MA)を用いた小規模電解試験を実施し、電解にてTRUを一括回収できることを確認した。

In the metal electrorefining reprocessing method, transuranic elements (TRU) are recovered simultaneously with the liquid cadmium cathode (LCC) and are decontaminated from the fission products dissolving in the melt. Lab-scale experiments were carried out to evaluate the performance of TRU recoverly with LCC using U, Pu and minor actinides (MA), and it was confirmed that TRU could be recoverd simultaneously with LCC by electrode position.
