原子力機構関西光科学研究所(KPSI)はレーザー科学と技術のアウトリーチ活動を12年に渡り行ってきた。今年の夏これに今まで手薄であった加速器の科学と産業に関するアウトリーチを追加することを計画している。このためにKPSIが運営しているS-CUBEという名前のアウトリーチ活動において小型の高圧電源とこれを用いた加速器をありふれた電気部品を用いて製作することを計画している。併せて今までのKPSIのアウトリーチ活動全体を紹介する。

JAEA Kansai Photon Science Institute (KPSI) has outreaching activities in laser science and technologies over these 12 years, and I plan to add another one of accelerator science and industries this summer. A small electrostatic high voltage power supply and accelerator is planned to build by using popular and available electric parts in S-Cube (Super Science Seminar) performed and operated by KPSI as its outreaching activity. The high voltage power supply and small accelerator as an example of accelerator science and technology will be discussed for some industrial applications. Finally, we will add a brief explanation on all outreaching activities in JAEA KPSI.
