本稿は、高温ガス炉によって水素製造を行う具体的手段である、メタンの水蒸気改質法,熱化学法ISプロセス,ハイブリッド法,UT-3法及び高温水蒸気電解法について、これらの概要,米国を中心とした海外の研究動向,国際協力体制について概観した解説論文である。

This article reports overview of various hydrogen production process which utilize heat supplied by the high temperature gas cooled reactors. Brief description for the thermochemical water splitting IS process, the hybrid-sulfur process, UT-3 process, the methane steam reforming process and the high temperature steam electrolysis were summarized. Research trends and a framework of international corporation in this field were introduced.
