国際原子力情報システム(INIS)データベース無料提供の開始について

国際原子力機関(IAEA)は、世界各国の原子力関連文献情報を収録するデータベースである国際原子力情報システム(INIS:International Nuclear Information System,イニス)のオープンアクセス・パイロットプロジェクトを2008年10月から開始した。日本も2008年12月から、本プロジェクトへの参加が認められ、日本国内からはユーザー登録を行うことにより、無料でインターネット版INISデータベースを利用できるようになった。本稿では、INISデータベースとパイロットプロジェクトの概要について紹介している。

In October 2008, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) initiated an Open Access Pilot Project of the International Nuclear Information System (INIS) database which contains bibliographic records for worldwide scientific literature on nuclear science and technology. Japan was accepted to join this project in December 2008, INIS database on the Internet became available for free of charge for domestic users with user registration. This article introduces the outlines of the INIS database and the project.
