球面投影による医用画像データの可視化

次元医用データを球面スクリーン上にボリュームレンダリングで投影し、可視化するシステムを提案する。3次元医用データを可視化する際、他の臓器などで隠された領域の情報が可視化結果に表れないことがある。つまり可視化結果が観察する方向に依存してしまう。この問題に対して、本研究では球面スクリーンを可視化対象を囲むように設置し、スクリーン上の全方向から多視点投影によって投影する可視化方法を提案する。

We propose a volume data map to investigate inner structures and complex behaviors of datasets. Traditional visualization techniques provide an intuitive and effective way to explore volume datasets. However, these techniques suffer from the problem that visualization results depend on the viewing angle. Consequently, important information may be lost because they are unable to display hidden regions. To visualize information from all directions, we propose a volume data map projected in all directions. We consider this proposed map to be a navigation map for investigating three-dimensional datasets.
