A neutron beamline dedicated to high-pressure material science is now being constructed on BL11 at MLF, the spallation neutron source of Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex (J-PARC). The beamline realizes the measurement of diffraction and radiography for powder and liquid/glass samples at high pressures up to 15 GPa and 2000 K. In order to achieve our goal, the beamline has two characteristics. One is the installation of a large-sized hydraulic press and the other is using supermirror focusing guides. Here, we report the current design and the performance of the beamline estimated with Monte-Carlo simulation program McStas and PHITS.
