多重$$gamma$$線検出法は放射性核種分析において高分解能,高感度を実現する。この手法を中性子放射化分析,即発$$gamma$$線分析に適用することにより、これらの分析法を高度化することができた。本展望では、多重$$gamma$$線検出法及びそれを利用した分析法を紹介し、その可能性を論ずる。

We have developed the multiple $$gamma$$-ray detection method which provide a tool for high-resolution and high-sensitivity elemental quantification. By applying this method to neutron activation analysis (NAA) and prompt $$gamma$$-ray analysis (PGA) we have succeeded in the improvement of these analysis methods. We will review the principle of the multiple $$gamma$$-ray detection method, experimental apparatuses for NAA and MPGA and expected performances in those analyses.
