Heat transfer experiments and numerical analysis of supercritical pressure water in seven-rod test bundle

This paper shows the experimental analysis of seven-rod bundle heat transfer experiment using ACE-3D to assess applicability of ACE-3D for SCWR rod bundle analysis. It is confirmed that ACE-3D can predict the rod surface temperature within variation in experimental results due to including thermal conduction in the simulated fuel rod, that improvement of prediction accuracy of the rod surface temperature in high bulk enthalpy region remains to be solved, and that ACE-3D can also predict the pressure drop by supplement of pressure drop of grid spacer with experimental correlation.
