Measurement of neutron spectrum at BL04 of J-PARC/MLF

The neutron energy spectrum at BL04 of J-PARC/MLF was measured by the time-of-flight method. The -ray emitted from $^{10}$ B(n,) $^{7}$ Li reaction was measured by Ge detector with/without resonance filters of Cd, Mn, Co, In and Ag. The results revealed that the background was very low and the neutron energy spectrum could be determined with accuracy by using $^{10}$ B(n,) $^{7}$ Li reaction.
