Fast reactor core design considerations from proliferation resistance aspects; Radial blanket-free core concept

Sodium-cooled fast reactor core design considerations are made to improve the proliferation resistance by focusing the plutonium generated in the UO $_{2}$ blanket in the frame of the Fast Reactor Cycle Technology Development (FaCT) project. It is shown that the appropriate design and treatments of the UO $_{2}$ blanket help to reduce the internal proliferation factors.
