Structure formation of atmospheric millimeter wave breakdown on non-gaussian beam

The structure formation of atmospheric millimeter wave breakdown plasma was observed. The development of the breakdown on a high power Gaussian and non-Gaussian beam was visualized. The trajectory of ionization spots depending on beam profile was found to form the filament structure.
