Wide-band neutron focusing with a high precision elliptic supermirror

We have been developing a ultraprecision focusing supermirror combining the ion-beam sputtering method and the numarically-controlled local wet etching techniques. In this contribution, focusing of a wide-band neutron beam (3.5 $AA $sim$$) is demonstrated with a 1-dimensional elliptic supermirror.
