Corrosion behavior of high Cr-ODS steels in flowing lead-bismuth at JLBL-1

Corrosion test of high chromium-ODS (oxide dispersion strengthened) steels with and without containing aluminum was carried in flowing lead-bismuth at JLBL-1. Investigation after 1000 hrs run at 450 $$^{circ}$$C showed no severe penetration of lead-bismuth into all parent material. Moreover, a formation of very thin oxide layer on their surfaces was observed.
